This is one
of the paintings I did in my secondary school days. It is related to the topic,
Freedom. Freedom is life, it is a gift. Everybody wants to be free, even the
sea creatures. Without freedom life becomes dull. Freedom has many denotations,
let alone definitions, but the connotation is not the same to everyone. Freedom
is probably one of the most expensive things in the world yet it is one of the
things most taken advantage of. We are lucky to be in a society of
freedom. Yes, some people take advantage of it, but, why not? Freedom is a
wonderful entity but it might not last forever. If chances were never taken and
if discoveries were never made, what would the world be like? Without freedom,
life would not be as exciting or adventurous. Yes, our freedom was in danger,
but it was not taken away from us. We may not be free forever, so let’s enjoy
it while we can. Just remember, we are the land of the free and the home of the
brave!
